The introduction of Qualified Opportunity Zone (‘QOZ’) has offered unprecedented tax benefits to incent the private sector to join City and community organizations in the effort to revitalize Chicago. Eagle OZ was established by a group of local developers who are already active with creating and managing hundreds of affordable housing units in these disadvantaged neighborhoods. Yes, we are investors, but at the same time we also have social conscience and we are already working to improve the overall quality of life in the areas south of Chicago’s downtown. We were brought together by the shared vision to use the QOZ for an investment that is great for both investors and the subject communities at large.

Jamie Nahon, CFA
Jamie has 20+ years of experience managing real estate development and investments, all valued in excess of $3 billion and generating income of $250M+ annually. He established Eagle Infinite Investments in 2012 as a platform to invest in both value-add and socially conscientious residential property. Eagle Infinite’s real estate funds have been active in the neighbourhoods south of Chicago’s downtown core since 2017 with the redevelopment of hundreds of residential units. Jamie joined forces in 2019 with long time local south side Chicago operator Scott Allbright to launch Eagle OZ that utilizes Opportunity Zone tax incentives to drive investment dollars into both financially and socially profitable residential development projects.
Scott has 30+ years experience with development, management and sale of over 1,250 properties valued at $300M+ in Chicago, as a licensed contractor and real estate broker. He has been particularly active in Chicago’s south side over the past ten years with a demonstrated commitment to revitalization. Scott owns Green Day Construction (GDC), a licensed general contractor with the City of Chicago and he is the co-owner and managing broker of PIP Realty Group. GDC and PIP form an operation that delivers seamless construction, realty and property management services all under one roof. Headquartered just south of Bronzeville, Scott’s team of 15 real estate professionals are vested in the local communities. They are responsible for the hands-on execution of Eagle OZ Opportunity Zone projects.
Jon Garrity is a co-owner/co-founder of PIP Realty Group and is responsible for technology integration, financial oversight, and supervising day to day operations of the firm. Jon brings 12 years of real estate investing, development, and management experience on top of his passion for using technology to automate mundane and repetitive processes, reducing errors and improving customer and employee experiences. Jon and Scott have led PIP Realty Group through four years of rapid growth, transforming it into the boutique firm of choice of real estate investors who seek a reliable partner that provides all services under one roof.
Gary Peiser, CPA, MBA
Gary is the Chief Financial Officer of Eagle OZ. In addition to overseeing all financial and reporting matters, Gary is the Eagle OZ in-house resource to ensure compliance with the intricate Qualified Opportunity Zone eligibility rules. Gary is a licensed CPA and he has worked with Eagle Infinite since 2014.
